Colin
Revel cycled Paris-Vigny-Gournay-Dieppe in 2013, using my route except
for a scenic alternative Vigny to Gournay. Here are some of his notes:
Vigny to Gournay (via Bray et Lu and Gisors, St Germer de Fly)
We used the Avenue Verte London Paris Route here.
There have been massive improvements and now completion of this set of Routes
from Paris to Dieppe is excellently sign posted.
i)
From Vignay to Bray et Lu is
West through small villages on quiet minor roads, a short 400 metres grass
track and a 1 kilometre bumpy track/road with lovely scenery.
ii)
From Bray et Lu to Gisors. A purpose
built cycle path along River Epte Valley for 20 kilometres leads to beautiful
town of Gisors.
iii)
Gisors to St Germer de Fly. The
road out of Gisors (again well sign posted) is a mixture of flat along the
valley, 1 large hill, again taking in some lovely small villages and scenery
before dropping down into Bouchevillars and then into St Germer de Fly (where
it re-joins Donald’s Route).
iv)
From St Germer de Fly to Gournay. Donald’s and Avenue Vertes route is different. Donald’s is best and
much shorter having now done both.
